how do you make shorty mirrors?? do you just take the baseplate off and modify the actual mirror to fit onto the door?

Tim

now that would be telling, lol. i made some and am well happy with the results, i know craigs look good as well, it is possible, you just need to have a good look at them and think just be careful to make them look as standard as possible

yeah but how do you make them what needs to be cut and where any help would be most apreciated

you cut them in half. then take about 4cm off one side then glue them back together, then make a piece of metal to join the step. and loads of fiber glass and sanding and eventualy your'l get there. i spent 1 weekend making 1 and got load of blisters so gave up. it aint quite finished yet but ill put some pic up to give you a kind of idea.. they look great and ar worth the hassel.

those look good, i think its something worth trying, it'll help with aerodynamics lol

you must have worked hard on your james, making them that small but look authentic, along with everyone else :D

and the way yours look as though they were built that way Timmy, into that ;)
