Does any one know of a mod that can be done to stop the hazrad light putting the ignition on when inverted other than putting the earth on a switch or smoething? cheers
Ye, theres one on the Topbuzz site iirc. Adding a resistor to one of the wires.
Or just block up the spare holes in the switch socket so the switch will only go in one way.

you can either take the dash apart and put a diode where theres two black wires going to one connector to stop the circuit from being reversed, or cheat and melt the inside so the hazard light switch cant be put in the wrong way (you'll see when you take the switch out and notice theres one spade connector not on it) ;)
does that work on both mk1 and mk 2 novas? i assumed it was only mk1s
