how-de. when i turn my ignition on the fuel light comes on then the needle goes all the way past full, and stays there. Has anyone else ever had this? My dad reckons its the sender in the tank. any ideas?
thanks.
The sender is either fooked, or the wire is shorting to the car body.
Check the connections at the sender first.
O, and Mechanical ;)
Aye as above should really be in mechanical, are they the original clocks as i had this, not enough or too much resistance either way, so you need to swap the resistor in the back of the guage for another one, ask in tech and im sure that might get explained in detail if its non-original clocks!!
