water on the passenger side shelf

as some of you know my mates borrowing my nova for a while, had a call from him this morning saying hes discovered some water on the passenger side under dash tray, ive had a think and i cant think what it would be, and ideas :confused: obviously when he brings it round later ill have a good look round but anyone hazardous a guess as to what it could be??

Windscreen seal?
Hole in the passenger side of the battery tray panel..?

Have a look up under the dash see if you can spot any wet areas where the waters coming from.

yeah i will when it gets here, im thinking the windowscren seal is buggered and all the snow/rain/hail hasnt helped !1
