New Roof

Does anybody know who difficult(or even possible) it is to fit a new roof to a nova?

a skilled bodyshop could cut 1 off and fit 1 for enough money - why would you want to tho ??

its a pretty big job and can be done, our bodysho has done some on BMW`s but on i nova tbh i wouldnt see the point!

not that hard i dont think,depends on how they are joined because these no gutter rail on the roof thats were the spot welds are usually,the only way i think it could be done is by choppin through the outer skin on 1/4 panels at the top and down the screen/door pillers ant the top of the B posts.

then just weld the new 1 on like when doin a 1/4 panel

it all depends really, if theres a dent in it, get a Paintless Dent Remover or if your rallying and want the sun roof gone, just cut a sheet and weld it in plave of the sun roof!

or if you really want a new roof, its piddly piss, cut it off, weld new one on, flash over hand have painted, but this will have really weakend the car!

thanks chaps just wondered how much work it would be the roof on it leaks round at the moment and so i was going to take it out.

Why don't you just find the hole and weld it up?
