Hi there, just thought i would share my insurance experience with you guys lol.

I owned a 1.3sr Nova before and cheapest i could find being 18 years old with no insurance before that, 0 no claims etc on my own insurance was ?1244:eek: which is a fair bit i know.....That was with Premium Search though i might add.

I now own a *cough* Tigra 1.6 16v *Cough* and am now with quinn Direct, all same info 0 no claims no previous insurance due to having to cancel my other one.

I know pay ?1400 quid for the group 13 insurance Tigra lol.....which to me isnt bad at all, even thought it must seem to some of you im sure lol.

So just to let younger drivers know, Give "Quinn Direct" a call and see how you get on.

Sorry to Bore some of you to death lol.

Cheers, Luke

there not too bad actually.

1.6 16v is fairly quick still considering weight of car.

Im hoping to buy another Nova with a similar engine or maybe the corsa gsi next.

novafied try puttin ur mum or dad on as a named driver if theyve been driving for a while it will reduce your quotes considerably.

Anyone know if they cover mods?

my G/F brother went with these when he past his test 18yrs old , 0 ncb, on a w reg 1.2 8v clio ?3500 and that was the cheapest he could find anywhere

as for mods the let him have an induction kit , and wheels for no increase in premium but they would up it for lowered suspension

he then went and wrote it off and swapped insurance over to a 106 quicksilver which was an extra 400 lol , which he wrote off lol , then he got a audi a4 1.6 which the renewal was about 5000 pmsl so he sold that and bought a saxo vts and he is now payin 1500 but he has had to put it in his birds name this year lol

at 18 i got my GSi 1yrs NCB 800 quid
that cam off ht eroad for a yr while i did most of the work, rebuild engine ect
