Hi guys. If I put 16s on 195/45 on my 1.2, will it muck up the ratios and be unable to be driven?

Cheers

It'll drive fine, but just won't be as quick to 60, but you may not even notice the difference.

My old 14" alloys with 175-65-14 tyres (standard GTE/GSi size), stood an inch higher at the side of my 15's with 195-45-15 tyres.
Right, so 16's are an inch larger than my 15's (that clever :p ) so I'm guessing, but 16's with 195-45-16 tyres are about the same rolling diameter as my old 14's and tyres were.
In other words, if 175-65-14 tyres don't alter the drivability of the car, 16's won't! You also have to consider width and off-set too though, but as far as gearing ratios is concerned, you should be fine ;)

Thinking about it, on my old 1.2L, I went from 145-80 13 tyres (yep...I know :O) to 14" alloys with 175-65-14, which were more than an inch taller on rolling diameter, and the car actually felt quicker! I think you'd only notice major differences with 17's upwards!
