when i brake heavily my passanger side rear wheel is locking up

its grinding aswell (needs shoes i think)

i have 2.0 16v front brakes

just wondering what it might be is it something to do with needing new brake shoes or is it something to do with me spining on a roundabout and boucing both drivers side wheels over a kirb ???

Sounds like something has taken a pounding!

IME when that happened to my brakes I'd had a rear wheel cylinder fail, I think it must mean too much braking happens on the opposite side. Either way you need to strip out the rear brake drums & clean out the crap & replace the shoes/cylinders as necessary. Makes sense to degrease the bearings & re-grease them whilst your there. Prolongs there life.

Sounds like my idea of fun, esp in this weather!!

the drum might be warped/ have a lip in it. take it off, grind the lip back and fit new shoes on both drums ;)
