eBay... What's Going On?!

OK, so there are some decent Novas on eBay selling for good prices... but there's also a high amount of rusty/damaged/not-so-good Novas with bids sky-high or just being generally a bit dodgy...

What is going on??? :confused:

Anyone else noticed this or am I wrong?

Unfortunatley, barry boys still buy Novas, therefore, if its got a shiney alloy wheel, or a spoiler, a chav will buy it even if the floors disintegrated lol

tbh i have noticed this to. As i am after 1 for my mom hehe lol (5 door baby!!) and they all sell for not cheap money. However i am after a sorta scrapper for a project and even the **** ones sell for above ?200 usually!! :confused:

i find that e-bay is the dumping ground for barry boy/piles of turd novas. a lot of bull shiit in most adverts too.

'91 1SR 78K some history, 3 owners, mint doors, new wings, mint tailgate, mint boot floor / batt tray, floor pans replaced, front panel replaced, inner wings plated etc, stripped interior, Cobra Monacos, s/frames, harnesses, half cage, cav slabs, 60 gmax kit ($hit) mk1 SR front, GTE grille, Magnex s/s back box, newish fuel tank, new front/centre pipes, k&n, T&T June, Spares, orig SR interior, there's more also.

All she needs IMO is a respray (few diff shades ATM) slight coolant leak (perished hose) and repair patches on rear arches, these could maybe be rubbed down because they are very minor.

TBH I think that is about the right kind of price for a 16 y/o car , my mate is converting her to 20XE and getting a full shoot in white, with grey cage, bumpers, rims etc. Should look good :)

i know what you mean, im after another nova, and theres one for spares or repairs, the seller claims hes not got the V5 because he sent it off, the rust is on the rear arch and corner of the door no tax or MOT, which i dont mind, the rust is easy sorted and i just want the nice black shell its got, its only been up for a day and its on ?150:(

i have to disagree on this as i just got 2 novas on ebay!
i got my saloon for 150! and its quite mint just arch rust and 30k on clock and it is a true milage when the only mots in the car and the milage on the logbook is the same!.
and my lil 1.3sr for 100 yes its a shed but its a good price for a good running 1.3sr
