just go to a local recyling place and weigh them in, any one can do it, some places want the tyres off the rim

Last time I weighed in some metal was some copper pipe from my house at a scrap metal merchants (find local ones in your Yellow Pages). You won't need to worry about any licence, they just take it, weigh it up and give you some cash. 8 Wheels should weight in at about 70kg+ without tyres so it will be a pretty godo return. If you are worried about the tyres, just cut the steel belts with a hacksaw/ angle grinder, the wheels are going to be scrapped anyway!!!

i do this all the time mate. Ebay lol buy a set for ?10 **** ones and whey them in and i get about ?35 for a set of 4. Some places charge you ?2 to take the rim off even though most dont take it off so be careful :thumb:

I doubt they would need a licence I weighed in 55 kgs of aircraft grade titanium last week with no problems
