Yes, but unless your running a LET, go for 256mm GSi brakes instead. Much better pedal feel.

really?, i was gonna stick the 288 ones on but i've already got 256's.

Are you talking for track or road or both?

Ive had quite good experience of the two setups TBH, I run 256mm Brembo discs with Pagid FR's and they feel great, however, Dave marshall runs 288's with the same make disc and pad and suffers poor pedal feel due to the bigger calliper piston.

Get a quality disc and pad combo on your valver brakes, they'll be way better than a standard set of 288's IMO At the end of the day, they were designed to stop a Cavalier GSi so theyre plentyful for a Nova. Its just more often than not, people use halfrauds discs and pads and wonder why theyre shte lol.

And i speak from a road AND track perspective.

OR
get Turbo calipers
Slightly smaller piston than v6 jobbies, so better pedal feel.

also use the fiat / alfa discs as they are four stud, cheaper and better than using 5 stud ones redrilled.

I think V6 are 57mm pistons, and turbo are 54mm pistons.
And im pretty sure you can use 288 discs with them.

As for some reason 284 discs/pads seem to cost a lot more than 288.
