I am only advertising this as I have seen something else I fancy.

Ive had it since september last year & it has given no trouble (except a bad earth). Nice & economical & fast to boot. I reckon it would take a GTE/GSi up a hill no problems.

106k miles (just run in)
Silk Violet
SR fr seats
Rev counter/6 clock dials as std
Oil & filter 2k ago
Brakes are sharp as Novas go
rear arches still surprisingly solid

http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c323/turbocraig/work_in_progress043.jpg

bad points.
doors are rather rotten
passenger side needs some filler smoothing off & paint at sill/arch
also minor dent on drivers r/quarter

?500 no offers. I'm not fussed if it doesnt sell. I love it!

PM me. Located on M5 J23 (somerset)

Due to getting a company car soon, I'll definately let this go now.

general condition is good IMO.

However both doors are badly rotted.
There is a patch of filler at the base of the rear arch/sill (pass side)
Fr turret & chassis leg (fr) have had some small welding (been well sealed)
boot floor is mint.

More pics to follow

Gimme the asking price & I'll be tempted to bring it up your way.

Be an excuse to see a mate in Stoke, I'll have to go with a mate for a lift home maybe...

I'm taking it you don't want any swaps, Px, etc??

I've been through hell with my Astra Si so I'm doing an engine swap, partial respray, etc... everything must be done to do.

Need a reliable little workhorse if I can get the cash.

Will get back to you if I have.

Balls I'd love to have this car to go to work and back would save me a few bob, but I haven't got 50p to rub together.

Bit of a pointless post really

Crusty engine, may see some evidence of past welding on drivers chassis leg (done well & sealed)

Other issue is with bodywork, previous welding to sill/arch on passenger side. Its fillered over but I've never bothered to sand it back smooth & or paint it.

No tax or test (I have company car & GSi) so am about to put the car into storage. ?250 as it is with steel wheels, or more with the Black Cav wheels & Yoko's.

IMO it needs 2 rear tyres for MOT (inner edges worn from last car) & I think it'd pass. Its solid, shell wise as far as Novas go & was a fantastic runner whilst I used it (9 months). Will need a new battery (I've bought one from a scrapyard) & maybe new glow plugs, but still starts if you let them heat for 2 cycles, 1st time.

I'm being honest. I'd like to keep it & will if it doesnt go. Great fun & quicker than a 1400!

For the benefit of BIGS (inbox full, chap)

I really need it gone mate, so if its ?300 with the Cav wheels, then so be it! I actually started it up & went for a spin in her yesterday. I really wish I could keep it, but its on my parents driveway (I live elsewhere) & they hassle me whenever I see them.

Keep in touch.

It has no tax or MOT. Ideally you would be local(ish) to trailer it away.

BIGS is provisionally having it, but I've been let down a few times so its gone when its gone.
