Need Help Now If Poss

ive got my nova last night and now im installing my sound system, but there is a big thick brown wire, what is it 4? it keeps blowing my fuses lol. if anyone knows of a website that shows all the colour wires in a nova and what they r 4 please give it me or if you know anythuing that could help me please reply a.s.a.p thanks Ian

What model Nova is it (mk1 or 2) and does it not have an ISO plug fitted? Are you wiring in just the head unit or are you also putting an amp in?

right, ive bought an iso harness from a local car shop,with just wires on one end n one end to go into my pioneer hu wires i got with the hu. now on the wires i bought the colours are different mostly, and i cant work out what is for what, im also wiring up 2 amps, but i have got a preout for them with rca splitters so not to worry, i just need to know what is the live,ground(i no its brown now)and whats everything else 4. its a k reg mk 2 nova 1.2 if it helps. Iso colours are

Red - Switched live
Yellow - Permanent Live
Black - Earth
Blue - Remote
Orange - Illumination

White - Front left +
White/black - Front left -

Grey - Front Right +
Grey/black - Front Right -

Green - Rear left +
Green/black - Rear left -

Purple - Rear right +
Purple/black - Rear right -

On the vauxhall loom the wires should be

Black - Switched live
Brown - Earth
Red - Permanent live

Can this be made a sticky so i dont have to type it out every time! lol
