what do you use to remove the head gasket from the head, could i use a scraper or would this damage it?

Plastic scraper.

Anything harder will leave scrape marks in it with it being soft alloy.

haha, thanks lads, i just decorked it now, i used a small metal scraper, and was very carefull not to put too much presure on it, and so i didnt leave any scrapes or gawges lol
whats the best paint to use on a head and cam carrier? just normal heat paint you get in helfrauds?
