sills 1/4 panels

Im going to put new 1/4s and sills on my nova because the arches are wroten and need doing so rather than welding arches on im going to replace the whole 1/4s and the sills but unsure if the sills come as a hole panel or just the lower section?

As any body put a pair of sills on there nova?how do they come i.e do they come with door shuts or just the lower section?:confused:

Not the best pics in the world, but you can see from the line of the filler where the top edge of a skin sill goes, Full sills are more expensive and attatch to the lip under the door seal. 1/4 panels tend to reach to the lip anyway, and most include the rear light surround.
It's a lot of work to do, so make sure the rest of the car's worth it before you start, a pair of sills takes me a day to cut out and weld in, but I have done quite a few now.

yep thanks mate ive done a few aswell im a painter/panel beater,just wanted to no if you could still buy the full sill upto the door seal ,

its only got 69000miles its a minter but theres just a few scabs on the under side of the sill and around the arches,so rather than welding a repair arch on and a bit of sill im goin to replace the complete 1/4 and sill,less filler!

What price are you talking for a none gen sill and 1/4 panel for a nova?

I've just bought 2 x sills and 2 x rear arches, they were around ?9 for each section + vat. Phone number for pickering branch is 01751 472448 (http://www.applegate.co.uk/indexes/telcode/all-01751.htm), then ask for their 'crash' department, they will give you a 0845 number for jo / vicky (sorry I have lost the 0845 number). I know they have a York branch but not sure if thier is one closer to rotherham

Last time I looked here, http://www.sel-imperial.co.uk/, Full rear 1/4's were only ?35 each + vat and delivery.
