Are the fuel lines from a 1.4sr different from those on a GTE or GSI ??

I have been told that when I put my 2.0l 8v in I need to upgrade the fuel lines nbecause the 1.4sr ones wont be able to handle the 2.ol because they are not injection lines. Is this bollox ?

1.4sr ones are plastic
u need thick rubber marked HIGH PRESSURE

or metal gte/gsi/sri style

or 1.2spi/1.4spi copper lined plastic (the best cause they are thin and flexable (maybe fitted to corsa aswell Rexy?

My 1.4sr has copper lined fuel pipes. At least at the front anyway.

and if I have to replace them, do you know how difficult it is to do it ?

Of you get a set of 2nd hand ones from a gte it shouldn`t be too hard (you also need the gte fuel tank with the swirlpot)

it stops your car cutting out when u go round corners (espesh when the tank is low)etc etc by making sure the lines are allways filled with fuel inmstead ov little air bubbles

u need the better ones
the swirlpot gets filled by the return and is called a swirl pot cause the fuel is put in from the side and it looks like water going down a plug hole
