Hi people,
Me and another NL member (r49) are respraying this nova soon but neither of us have any idea how we're going to get the windows out, especially the windscreen as apparently, r49 told me the windscreen was siliconed in when the windscreen was changed a few months back, is this normal? Anyone have any advise on how to get the windscreen out, and other fixed glass.
Thanks in advance, Craig.

Do a rear quarter window first, by gently pushing the glass from inside whilst peeling back the rubber on the inside. Go carefully, and dont put too much pressure near the edge of the glass. It's best to start at the top, then the front edge, then as you're halfway along the rear edge you should suddenly be able to just pull the bottom away from the car. Rear screen needs to be worked down both sides at the same time. If you get them three out ok, the windscreen should come out using the same method as the rear, but in my experience it's a lot easier to break.

Spot on guide from Mikey, but I wonder how good the painting skills wil be if you don't know how to take a window out
as mikey said the rears are a doddle, as for the front id personally pay for someone to remove it for you, i have tried this in the past and ended up breaking it, its due to the fact that its curved. i paid a screen fitter to remove it, and then he fitted it again for me when i had finished it. cost me ?35 so i was happy. Cheaper then having to buy a new 1, and a lot less hastle.

cheers guys, thanks alot for the advice!
Dont worry i have some experience painting, they'll be pics up of the spray job after, ill let u know when its done.
was ?35 for the removal and refitting later on at another time?
Might have a go ourselves. as for the silicone, do u think he siliconed the glass to the seal, surely he wouldnt silicone the seal to the car right?
Painting skills are amature, but before thier is a end thier must be a beginning. We will be taking lots of photos during the process and im sure it will come out really nice. The photos will be up for everyone to either rip or prase. :D hoping for more prase then rippage
