Thats exactly what I did with mine in my old 1.2.
I sold them to a guy with a fluorescent?!?! yellow 4 door nova when I scrapped my 1.2

I bet everyone realllly wanted to know that!!

Nice car, what's the retail on one of those?

I personally wouldn't bother with the Astra Recaros.....I sat in some a few weeks ago, and they're not a comfy as my normal SR seats, though they are miles better than standard Nova seats.
For Recaros, you want some from an Escort RS Turbo.....they are comfy, with huge side bolsters, but they cost a fair bit!

Escort ones are easier to fit.....hum.....interesting....I think a pair will be on my shopping list in the future, in that case.
They just bolt down to you floor on all four corners...don't they? I'm trying to remember what my mates look like.
I know that you can fit either front seat at either side if the car, as both are the same. I know 'cos the base collapsed on one of the seats in my mates Escort, so until he got it fixed, he swapped the passenger's seat to the driver's side...handy!
That's probably why they are so easy to fit...no ride runner thing like in the Nova.

What about the Sierra ones, from the Cossie?

I shouldn't be surprised really....there's allsorts at my local scrappy, 'cos they deal in crash-reparables, and there's been a few Porsches, at least 1 Nissan 300ZX, an RX7 and loads others.

Are they an easy fit?

i took me ages to find how the seats came out. after 20mins i looked under the car and found that the seats were bolted through the floor so i just drilled 4 holes in the nova and bolted the new seats in then sealed the bolts to prevent the rust from eating the floor. the seats are abit wierd but i am planning on leathering them.

U can give your seats a new lease of life by bending the side bolsters back in to hold u snug!

MC....I did that with my old standard Antibes seats.....they were almost like sports seats! Ok, not quite, but held me more snug than standard. I removed them from the car, laid 'em on their side, and stud on 'em, then jumped up and down a bit....I managed to bend the sides in quite a bit!

PAG......I know what you mean about the seats...they are a bit unusually shaped....are they the same as in the A610?
