As above.
When the pressure drops below a certain level and it brings the oil pressure light on, what does it switch? Does it supply a pos 12v to the bulb? Or a earth?

Could the supply be used to switch an electric fuel pump on/off?

think it earths until the pressure reaches 10psi, can be used as a fuel pump cut out via a relay, but you'll need a momentery switch to by-pass it for starting.

just connect the pump to an ignition live lol

If you want a proper oil pressue switch to wire in your fuel pump they do them in the demon tweeks catalogue.

Hmm, that wont work for a fuel relay i dont think.
The relay gets earth to switch the voltage to the pump wire, so if the switch only earths when the light is on the pump would only run when the pressure was under 10psi.
The opposite of what i need.

Cheers gary, i'll have a look in tweeks catalogue, think i'll need a T-piece too, to connect that switch and the dash pressure guage switch to.
