horn wires

i was looking at the max power haynes and it had a pic of a horn button had two wires plugging in to it but mine only has 1 wire and it dont work are they meant to have two ????

There should be two, one to the centre of the column and one to the contact pin.

You mean your aftermarket steering wheel only has one? I think you'll need to make up a new one for earth (contact plate between boss and wheel I think) as it mentions in the Haynes/Max Power book.
