wiring loom!!!!

hi all, was just wondering what parts of the wiring loom can be taken out as i have got some twin 40's for it now.

Its the c14se engine in a sri. Ive got the loom spread on the floor. was wondering if you could take out all the wires that led to the ecu?? or would i need to leave some in for that?? thanks in advance!!

It would be easier to use a 1,4 carb loom, but if you really want to strip the sri one down you will need to keep the coolant temp, alt. charge, and coil/tacho wires.

You could remove all the ecu wires yeah, but its a hell of a job as you have to completely unwrap half the loom, cut the wires out, then re-wrap.

I'd just leave the loom fitted but remove the ecu itself.
Its easier re-fit the old injection system then too if ever you need to.
