Fuel pump on carb car

when fitting injection tank and pump on a carb car for fitting an XE how do people power the pump?

With a wire?

The xe engine loom has a fuel pump relay.
It has a Live, red/blue wire to the pump, and a wire to the ecu.

When the ecu detects engine rotation it switches the relay to supply power to the fuel pump.

You will just need fit a wire in the car from the relay to the fuel pump. And another from the pump to earth.

Make sure its a thick enough wire.
About 20Amp i think the fuel pump pulls.

Put a inline fuse on the wire too.
