i want to remove the textured effect from my rear bumper, what grade paper should i use to flat the bumper with?

build it up with primer filler then flat down with 600

Yep.
High build primer from a spray gun fills the texture.

High build primer from a spray can doesn't tho.

just been and got some, whats holding the rear bumper on?

two nuts on the inside of the boot, underneath where the boot latch is.
And a clip either side of the ends of the bumper

^ Unless it's a mk2, there's two screws behind the edge of the sides.

got the bumper off easily enough, started prepping it and applying high build primer n fook me it takes some coats

I put on about 8coats of high build from a spray can and it was still slightly textured on mine.
But spray gun stuff is much better.

Get some wip pics up :)

erm - you could always TRY LOOKING AT THE STICKY AT THE TOP - how to smooth and spray a bumper!
