Ones a classified ad.
Looks like the seller is a trader and is advertising it under both a traders account and a private account. Although they give different mileages of the car... makes you wonder though why its been bid up to ?6100, yet the classified price is ?5k...

Im not saying that its not a Cosworth lump because I simply don't know...so can anyone enlighten me?
It all looks the same 'around' the engine, so maybe its just a different design of cam cover?
Yeah, there's two different types by the look of it.

how random :s
most probably a scam! steer clear of this one
the engine in the Escort is the later one with the small turbo I think. Thought I read somewhere that they has to change some bits and bobs and fit all smaller turbo to reduce noise and emmisions.

the plastic looking engine i believe is from the cosworth lux which also has a bigger turbo which is crap as it lags to much and it has nicer interior hence lux (luxury)
