Fitting M3 Mirrors?

Anyone else had trouble fitting M3 mirrors. The fittings don't seem to match the door on my MK1 Nova. I brought them from Demon Tweeks (bad mistake I know)the base plates are for nova's 83-92 or so it says. Any advise?

yeah there a shit fit

my mate has them

when i fiied sum onto the green nova i didn buy the baseplates and just made my own up coz i knew they fit shite

cheers for the info,
any suggestions on what to do? don't really wanna go drilling holes in the door which is the only way I can see the things fitting and I can't make any myself coz I am thick

yer i had the same prob i drilled one hole and used the original othe 2 holes right git it was good luck lol

I also had this problem. I recken its pretty pathetic that they cant make ones that fit. I got some foam seal to put around the outside of the base plates so there were no gaps, then bodged it on!
