Backbox Hanging low

I've just put on my new twin 3" sportex backbox and im really pleased with it. My dad however reckons its hanging too low and its also quite close to the rear wheel. Has anyone else found these problems when fitting the sportex backbox?

yes i had the same problem i just shortened the bracket that came with it and it sorted gap between the wheel & box

still close though
