what do you think of my old nove

hey i was wondering what you think of my nova, it was my baby and im realy starting to miss her now. i pranged it so many times you wouldnt beleive and the best thing about it was it was a weekends graft would put her back on the road. for a 1.2 it was rapid and just loved the revs and the twistys. ive had heeps of different wheels and bumpers on her so what do you think?

this was the first big crash after hitting a dry stone dyke at 70mph

that didnt end it we just welded in a new section of shassy leg and with a new door and wing and a lick of paint it was fine

this was the last day i drove it. on the way to work i spun round and hit an armico barrier, it twisted the whole shell and i decided to let her R.I.P.the annoying thing was it was just running right after i had ported out the head and skimed a fair chunk off then had to mess about with the mixture.

i hit a wall because i had to avoid a crash in front of me, it was either hit a wall doing 0 mph or hit another car doing 50 odd, it wasnt the fact i cant drive. anyway i wanted to know what you thought of my car not my driveing skills.

I think it looks better in the pic with standard bumper and side skirts than in the pic with the GTE bumper and no skirts. Other than that, its all pictures of it looking a mess after you'd crashed it.

Looks a mess tbh. Atleast you drive it hard but its pointless asking for our praise of you wrapping it up into walls & stuff, that says nothing about your driving ability or respect for Novas.

thanks for your comments, i did like the mini lights my self but it was too low the down pipe kept scrapeing off the floor. i just thot you mighrt be interested in how i fixed it which was why i loved it so much, vauxhalls simple design made it easy to repair unlike todays cars with crumple zones and what have you. obviously i dont like it either when its broke so thats a fair comment. but to say i dont have respect for novas is a bit harsh since i dragged it out the scrappy and nurtured it back to health in more than one ocasion when most people would have given up and declared it written off. it served its purpose not only did it teach me not to drive like a fanny but made me learn alot about the technical aspects of simple tuning and made me a big fan of the vauxhall nova and its awsome charector.
