Use the 16valve loom for all the injection gubbens, and for the water temp located on the thermostat. There will be a green wire coming from the ecu which is for your rev counter and a black wire at the passenger side of the infection rail for the switched voltage (ignition). There should also be a constant 12v wire which is the large red one.
I have had trouble with an earth on mine though as it seem to burn out if I try to turn the engine over (to start) for to long, but it doesn't start that easily with twin carbs.
If you have further problem (as my engine used a distributorless ignition and is on carbs) then checkout:

This should hopefully help.

Oh, and the fuel pump wires which sould be the same colour as the gsi ones I think.
You'll also need the relay in there. and small plug with the octane rating on it.
Loads of the wires won't need to be used so don't be alarmed when you have a handfull of wires but nowhere to put them.

Just a warning, the ecotec is a Bar steward to wire up. We had to get an electrician in!
