All set for Donny on the 18th both?
I'm certainly not lol
Not really, lol.
I'm still waiting for a coil spring from rally design and my fuel pump packed up last night, lol Easy fixes though

Ad - if you're wanting some decent tyres to really see how your car performs, then you're more than welcome to borrow a set of my Toyo 888s, I have them on some 15" Tigra alloys.
Nathan - I have a spare injection fuel pump if you want to borrow that?
That would be awesome Olly. But like you did, i think i would have mega clearence issues on the rear arches :(

lol OK chap, no probs
How much space do you have?(assume you'll be in the 4x4/jeep?)
If its no trouble/hassle it would be cool if you could bring them, and i'll try one on there.... :)

Won't be in the Jeep pal, just the Nova - so space will be rather tight as it is

ANOTHER update.
Got home from work to find the coilovers were back from Avo.
Have to say, AWESOME service(i only sent them to Avo via std parcels on monday.....)
So fantastic turnaround time, thanks to Nigel @ Avo :)
They've had the oil seals replaced, new fluid
They've also replaced the stiffness adjusters and shaft nuts, fitted new avo stickers , and supplied two brand new piston rubber covers, which is handy seeing as i didn't have any lol
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v86/Nova-crew/DSCF0001Medium-1.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v86/Nova-crew/DSC5F0004Medium.jpg
Then another knock at the front door, these babies have arrived
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v86/Nova-crew/DSCF0005Medium.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v86/Nova-crew/DSCF0006Medium.jpg
The tyres are 195/50s, and they do fit on the car without rubbing, but two are fooked. The other two are quite new though, so they'll get removed and sold on....
The silver marks isn't kerbing marks, its just where the paints flaked/lifted. :)
Undecided on what colour to do them atm, but i have a lot of white paint spare from the old wheel refurb, so maybe white. Will be re-doing the centre caps, and fitting new Compomotive stickers too :)
Nice one, I was equally impressed with Avo's turnaround when I got two struts refurbed there not so long ago. Handy that they gave you some dust covers too!
Beautiful wheels, am very jealous.
Indeed, and you never even payed for your refurb lol
very impressed with avo and you cant go wrong with comps
nathan.
04-07-08, 09:36 PM
I never got dust covers :( lol
Loving the comps. Will they be on for the track day?
Sounds like an excellent service from Avo. Got me thinking now...... ;)
Cheers for the comments.
Nath-Dont think they'll be on for Donny TBH. So busy with work atm i only really get Sunday to do any mincing. lol
As said a top service from avo there! I Was going to buy a set of them very wheels for mine until the RL's came up, will look great on them fella. :)
Cheers Nick, means a lot coming from you :)

avo's n comps on ones nova.. the equivalent of rolling your sleeves up ready for the track eh.
proper specs now :-)
:D Speaking of trackdays, more mincing this afternoon making up an in-car camera mount, thats solidly fixed to the car.
I have no rollcage so had to come up with another plan, which goes a bit like this:
Take 2 bits of old steel cut offs, and drill 12mm hole to fit 7/16s bolt.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v86/Nova-crew/DSCF0001Medium-2.jpg
And some of B&Qs finest steel box section
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v86/Nova-crew/DSCF0002Medium.jpg
Cut to length, and crack out the welder
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v86/Nova-crew/DSCF0006Medium-1.jpg
Not bad, considering im a welding noob.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v86/Nova-crew/DSCF0007Medium.jpg
Bolt to the car using the old standard top seat belt mount
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v86/Nova-crew/DSCF0008Medium.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v86/Nova-crew/DSCF0009Medium.jpg
Attach camera:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v86/Nova-crew/DSCF0012Medium.jpg
And check the view through it, PERFECTO
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v86/Nova-crew/DSCF0011Medium.jpg
So i now have a camera mount that can be fitted in minutes. Ready for Donny on the 18th :D (will be removing the interior mirror for it)

Or can they give you the same forms at Donny on the day?

Had a nightmare trying get the top mounts off a set of standard suspension lol
So took them round to John H's today and he whizzed them off with a air gun in about 2.45seconds lol
Cheers mate :D
So thats sorted now ready to fit to the Avo's, just got to pick some 250 springs up tomorrow at Billing, and then i can fit them ASAP.

lol.. just see midlands room, billing thread :-p
Update
Picked up some 250lb springs off Spanish Fly at Billing, so got cracking and got the Avo's all built up ready.
Had a fooking nightmare trying to get the top mounts on(the springs are 9" in length), which meant there was no thread for the top mount main nut...., not enough coming out of the top mount.
SO, had to use spring compressors to compress the spring slightly, and just managed get the nut on.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v86/Nova-crew/Avosbuiltup.jpg
So wipped the old setup offf today after work
Comparison, old springs looked shagged and about to snap
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v86/Nova-crew/DSCF0245.jpg
New setup on
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v86/Nova-crew/DSCF0251.jpg
Here is where problems started, let the jack down and found the spring platform jammed against the tyre... NOT GOOD
So managed to find some 3mil spacers i bought about 4 years ago.
Managed to get wheel/spacer/brake disc lined up, and i just have enough clearance(talking millimeters..)
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v86/Nova-crew/DSCF0256.jpg
And check the UNCOOL ride height(thats with the springs adjusted fully low :(
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v86/Nova-crew/DSCF0253.jpg
The springs are quite long at 9", kind of wished i had kept with the 7" 300s, as it should sit much lower with those on. But these will have to stay on for Donny now and then i'll decide what do.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v86/Nova-crew/250s.jpg
Took the car out for a quick blast and the handling is much improved IMO, steering feels better, and theres less front end roll. Feels a lot more stable, so im looking forward to Donny this Friday
Did you fit bump stops in the end ad?
Nope, the dampers are almost fully extended with those 9" springs on anyways, so it will go much lower with shorter springs, and mean I wont need spacers as the spring will sit higher :)
think you'll gain some more with top mounts, like we were on about on sat.
Yup, standard mounts staying for the time being though.
Going fit shorter springs after Donny :)
peester
15-07-08, 08:52 AM
Im kinda in a similar predicament; my front coilover springs are 8" i think; but they are too small/ bearly seem to compress when ride height wound all the way down. Could be this that is giving me the harsh ride.. i dunno.
I thought to try bigger ones but then i may be in your boat with parties in the arches, with the coilover wound right down.. hmm.
Tractor suspension eh what Ad lol
What you doing with your old front shocks cheif?
Im kinda in a similar predicament; my front coilover springs are 8" i think; but they are too small/ bearly seem to compress when ride height wound all the way down. Could be this that is giving me the harsh ride.. i dunno.
I thought to try bigger ones but then i may be in your boat with parties in the arches, with the coilover wound right down.. hmm. Yeah mate, id put money on the fact that yours are sitting on the bump stops(hence youve got no suspension movement=bumpy ride lol)
But yours is SLAMMED compared to how mine sits, yet my springs are only an inch longer than yours.... Unless your bodies wind down further than AVOs
Had a look at mine earlier on, and id guestimate my shocks can come down at least another 2-3inches before bottoming out. So shorter springs will sort mine.
Going order them from Rally Design in a bit, but cant decide on 7" length, or 6" (probably going for the same 250 poundage rate as it feels fine)
Mike-Probably keeping them TBH, never know when they might come in handy.
Mike-Probably keeping them TBH, never know when they might come in handy.
@rse, im after some front ones :( not fancy a swap for mine and cash your way lol (even though mine have only done 6k miles)
40mm Jamex front struts that are pratically new. I can even remove the springs for you?
If i decide i dont need them mate, i'll let you know :)
Going hang onto them for the minute.

Adam, good going m8 :thumb:
Cheers mate.
All ready for Donny now, booked tomorrow off work so will fit the camera mount etc ready :)
Also might cut some air holes in my std mk2 front bumper, to make the car look more hard core:cool: lol
I hope it dont rain :(

Right, did Donington yesterday, and to make it look a bit more hard core, i found my hole saw and std mk2 bumper, and the result =
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v86/Nova-crew/DSCN1061Medium.jpg
Car went superb throughout the track day, must of been out on track for about 2 hours in total, and never missed a beat.
Had a few people asking about what engine/brakes i was running too :D

Also at Donny i picked up some 7" 250lb coilover springs off Nathan(cheers mate)
So set out fitting them today.
Coilover removed and in bits(again)
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v86/Nova-crew/DSCN1058Medium.jpg
Old spring left, new right
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v86/Nova-crew/DSCN1059Medium.jpg
Refitted the strut, and the ride height is now just what i want.
This is with the spring platform wound up to about 1-2" off the bottom
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v86/Nova-crew/DSCN1067Medium.jpg
Compared to the old springs fully down
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v86/Nova-crew/DSCN1057Medium.jpg
So im well pleased with that result, can go lower but i want to keep some damper travel, so i'll leave them at that.
The shorter springs also means i no longer need wheel spacers
Thats all for now.
Quick update.
If youve not seen, i picked up a xe the other week.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v86/Nova-crew/DSCN1088Medium.jpg
So have been stripping that down this weekend ready for rebuild.
All de-greased/cleaned, and up on stand
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v86/Nova-crew/DSCN1105Medium.jpg
Cam cover off, ready to undo headbolts
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v86/Nova-crew/DSCN1107Medium.jpg
Head off, and we have 4 pistons which is cool :D
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v86/Nova-crew/DSCN1108Medium.jpg
Head looks ok, running a bit on the rich side though
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v86/Nova-crew/DSCN1114Medium.jpg
Thats all for now, will be ordering new gaskets/cambelt etc etc this week.
Valves will be coming out for re-lapping,and i will probably do a quick smoothing job on the ports whilst there out.

After doing some track action, realised i wanted more power, to improve the 1600 further would cost £500+, so bought a xe lol
Ive got a sbd type A exhaust manifold to fit it,and my 2.25" system, so hopefully the xe should make around 160hp, and a lot more torque than the 1600 :)

The Type A manifiold is designed for the std engine, and for "fast road" use.
Its the massive type C manifold thats designed to be used with bodies/carbs, and wouldn't work too well on a std xe :)
Ash-Dont worry, you'll be next to go BB ;) lol
Have you got the bolts dude?

It's BTB that supply SBD but the designs are different. The normal BTB one is a motorsport manifold, the primaries are way too big for a fairly standard xe
Have you got the bolts dude?
Nope :(
When did you send them??
looking good still ad!

Heyup Lew, good to see you still about on here.
No idea when its going in tbh, got some bits to buy, and the engine to build back up. And then will probably need book a few days/a week off work to fit the engine.

Benn-Cheers mate, hopefully these bolts will turn up.
Olly-Xe fitment before combe is off im afraid, dont have time sort all the bits i need :( Oh well, looks like im stuck with the small block then lol
Needed 4 new tyres after Donny in July, so decided try some Kumho's.
Ordered 4 KU31 195/45 tyres(which have a pretty much identical tread pattern to Hankooks RS2 track tyres), from MyTyres last week, but they only had two in stock, which arrived today. So it looks like i shall have new front tyres only,Lol.
They are getting fitted tomorrow, as i want a few miles to try and wear them in before Combe.

Aye, will need them aligning.
Ive not got the covers on at the minute, will need to cut the middle bits out to fit them though yeah. Was tempted just leave them off, but will get damp etc in the lamp
Cheers Olly
Will keep that in mind :)
Yeah damp will get it, just trim them back so thy are tight. its what i did.
looking good still ad, how did you find your khumos?
They were/are great mate, reduced the understeer a load and gripped very well
Amazing difference from my old nankangs.
Im going get two more for the rear.
Tested the HIDs this morning, the light from them is awesome  In front of the car is like daylight, and road signs etc reflect miles more than std halogen bulbs.
I can see why there illegal though, you can see that parts of the light beam scatters to the side of the car, so could blind someone on the opposite side of the road.
Still, very worthwhile though and there staying on. Going get the beam re-aligned :)
not bad tyres for the price are they, them khumo's ;)
Nope, id buy them again 100000%

Will get some tonight mate.
Unfourtunately i have no "before" comparison pics as i forgot to take any before i removed the old bulbs etc.
Tried get some pics, not the best though. They wouldn't turn out too well without using the flash

HID's on a nova look awsome! I think i may indulge :P
should of done a step by step guide for the artical's...
never mind eh..
they do look good, planning on some for the corsa adventually lol
Its so straight forward theres really no need for a how to.
Everything plugs in, and then just mount the ballast boxes, and bolt the live 12v to the batt.
trackdaynova
16-09-08, 04:39 PM
would this be adding weight to a Nova? lol
as i would like better headlights for when i'm out for a blast at night...
Probably about a kg yep lol
That 1kg is well worth it..
wow They are bright!!! ......... Adam you have pm :)
bit bright aint they ad! lol
yeh there good tyres was what i had on my SR

I was under the impression that unless HID's are fitted into proper headlights then they blinded everyone as they light isnt directed?
If i'm wrong then woohoo, i'll be ordering some for mine...

Ah, I was right then
lol/\
Yes mate, they are illegal unless you have projector lens headlamps, with auto levellers and cleaners, so it can direct the beam.
Ive had no problems though, aint been pulled, no ones flashed their lights at me when there driving the opposite direction etc.
Weather was hot as fook today
So cracked on.
New waterpump, cambelt/rollers/tensioners
Cambelt cover and Cam cover sprayed red
Spark plug cover, gloss black

Had a wee accident with the sump, so now need a new one lol lol
List of things to do is getting smaller.
*Clutch for the flat fly(have two brand new kits for a pot fly, so may just keep the pot one on)
*Crank sensor
*Lambda sensor
*Sump
*Sort bottom pully
*Buy mount kit
Should be receiving a new exhaust system next week off Matt GTE. Its a stainless steel 3 silencer Scorpion system. (cant really use the one i have atm as it was made to fit the 4-1, so the 4-1 is useless without the system)
The new system should hopefully be quieter too, which i want.
Not much left then :thumb:
Cams standard for now? Bet your dying to get out in it, have you driven an xe nova before?
General Baxter
20-09-08, 07:24 PM
when you planning on fitting it adam, + get on msn :p
Rich-Aye, std cams. Pointless fitting cams on std management and pistons as you have to keep them mega mild to avoid the pistons, and any good cams wont run right with the Motronic.
Never driven one, been in a few though, as well as a couple of tb'd xe's.
At the minute, im not expecting to it to seem much quicker than the current engine lol The extra/power torque should help on track though, at higher speeds :)
Baxter-Im wanting do Donny trackday on 9th November iirc, so basically at the latest want it in a few weeks before that date.
Probably mid October time, give me a few weeks from now to sort the last few bits.
Cars mot is due the week after the Donny trackday too, so Donny may be the last time i get to give it a right hammering lol
trackdaynova
20-09-08, 07:52 PM
Have you booked Donny for 9th November? nothing like a target to work to ;)
Get it booked before it gets full :thumb:
Ive not booked it yet mate nope. Its £180 iirc? So quite a bit of cash, which i wont have for a few week yet.
Im hoping it dont get fully booked up before i get booked on it,Lol
hi im gareth and i like to run around with my willy out.......

Std f20 diff atm im afraid lol

Well i've just spent the last 3 hours reading your thread and i'm knackered but it was worth it mate :thumb: It's been a similar story to mine really apart from I have kept my bike carbs. Oh and it is a c16xe lol
lol engine looks good ad , what did you do with the sump , i need a new one aswell got a crack ,
just keep fillin oil up thats all i do lol
I thought the 15nm torque rating for the sump bolts was loose as fook, so put a few extra turns on them with a spanner, ooops lol
Cracked around 3 of the bolt holes, its pissing oil out with the engine sitting, so it would leak like fook with it running lol

Mines a x16xe.
If yours has a metal upper inlet, and no air flow meter, it IS also a x16xe :thumb:

Correct I do have the metal upper inlet but this has been attached to the C16. The wiring I have just acquired and AFM is for the C16. Its only a temporary fix anyway to get it running so I can get the bikecarbs on (when I saved some brass up for the ecu off sbd) :thumb:
Yup, so you have a x16xe which you are going to be running on c16xe management/ecu.... :)
 So adam, is your cheap 20xe power starting to cost more money?
 So adam, is your cheap 20xe power starting to cost more money?

Yes mate, they are illegal unless you have projector lens headlamps, with auto levellers and cleaners, so it can direct the beam.
Ive had no problems though, aint been pulled, no ones flashed their lights at me when there driving the opposite direction etc.
I had no issues when I had them fitted in mine either, but I did keep a spare set of halogens in the boot just incase ;).
 So adam, is your cheap 20xe power starting to cost more money?
Yes, a f**king ****e load too
Easily added up wayyy over £600, and i still need some other bits  :(
Occasionally see 2nd hand tb kits come up for around £800, which would have suited the baby engine fine, oh well lol
Plus the xe is "unknown" as such, it may not even run lol. Whereas i know the current engine is in great condition, and 100% reliable. Would be an ideal base to fit tb's to
The only way to do a cheap xe is buy a £200 engine and chuck it straight in as it is. Rebuild bits aint the cheapest of things.
Ernie-Spot on mate, cheers for that. Its here waiting to come back to you :D
Dan-I always carry a few spare bulbs :)
trackdaynova
22-09-08, 08:35 PM
 never knew why you were rebuilding it anyway tbh mate :wtf:
throw it in, if it works, then bonus, if not, then rebuild it :thumb:
thats what i did, and i'm still going strong *touches wood* ohh errrr lol
Aye, just got it all rebuilt back up this weekend(new top and bottom end gasket sets, valves relapped, new cambelt/rollers etc). Its ready go in now, apart from a crank sensor, and a sump.
I should of done what you did too! As its pissing about changing clutches/flys/gaskets etc thats took the cash from my tb kit fund :(

totally mate, ahhh well - as you say, its done now :) and at least its piece of mind for ya!
ETA still on for November 9th @ Donny with me?
Deffo mate, want to book it asap but not liking the £180 price tag lol
Will get it booked though :)
engine looking good ad, now get it bloody fitted! P.s won't need my crank sensor, do you want it, do you have an old one i can use to plug my block?
Yup i have an old one :D
Do you have a lambda too? (i have a lambda with cut wires i can swap with yours, if you dont need the lambda...) ?
yep it's still in the front pipe! Won't need it so you can have it. Bring be yours so i can use it as a bung/stop, and we'll swop.

Cheers John.
About tomorrow night or weds????
Corsakid-Cheers for the offer mate, should be sorted after ive been Johns :)
I will be but i'm bang in the middle of ripping out and fitting my new kitchen, can you wait till sat, or are you desperate?
Yeah mate, sat is sound.
Will give you a txt on Sat afternoon :)
keep the baby valver:p
but at least when its built back up you will have the piece of mind knowing that it has been rebuilt........then get some tb's chucked on:cool:
When i sell the baby valver bits, i should be closer to breaking even anyways...
So all is not lost ;)
Yeah mate, sat is sound.
Will give you a txt on Sat afternoon :)
No probs, see you sat.:thumb:
Right, got a new sump off Jamie F over on Mig. Got that today, was it miles better condition than my original. Got it fitted as soon as i got home, just did the bolts tight enough, and no crackage :D lol
So thats sorted.

Brand new, Stainless Steel Scorpion exhaust system. 2" pipework, 3" inward rolled tip. Top quality system, no longer made afaik and cost about £270+ when new. 3 silencers too, so im hoping its nice and quiet
Even the tip is silenced :D

Will be cutting down the xe's downpipe, to get it to fit up with the system :)

Yup :)

I started with a calibra manifold, but that would have fouled the radiator, so i had to buy another.
Yeah i had to cut and bend the manifold to suit the scorpion.

Adam, di I read on MIG that you are going to Combe tomorrow? What for?
just read through all of it, your car has certainly come along, loving the wheels, the engine, the interior, ok i love it all (i want it )
good work soldier :)
Yes it is looking at the pics.
Couldnt be ****d to look back..lol Just wonderd as the mount has the nice cut out for the cover.
Benn-Yes its a late dis engine mate
Will the cover not need cutting then to fit the mount, with the mount i have?
If not,cool
CraigG-No mate, that was an old thread a few months back before Eurofest, which i bumped up because i found the problem :)
BMW156-Cheers mate
The mount you have is made for the late spec, thats why theres the nice cut out on the top.
Cool
Lucky really as i never noticed that lol
What cover mount is everyone talking about?? :S
On late engines the cambelt cover hits the engine mount, meaning it needs cutting.
The mount i have has been cut at the top, so the cover can sit in the cutout and not hit the mount
oh right never heard of that before. So when you hope to have it in? You waiting on much?
corsakid
05-10-08, 01:27 PM
same prob on my original engine cambelt cover hitting on mount, so i bought a mount like adams which as said allows you to run cambelt cover which is always nice!
The weekend of Oct 24th it should be going in on, MOT is two week later lol lol
Waiting on nothing :)
sweet! Any worries for the mot or all sweet? Im hopfully going to do my mot course next year, will have no more mot problems ever again lol
Yes i have a worrry( being the lack of cat,again....)
Cant really think of anything else TBH, pretty much everything on the car has been replaced recently lol (complete brake hoses/lines etc all replaced last year, shells been re-undersealed ready for winter etc etc. So cant think of anything else.
that sucks, if its got the redtop in try blagging its a '92 engine? Not know any friendly testers?

wow! I cant believe its been a year since you were doing the brake lines for the last MOT.
Look forward to seeing the valver appearing in there mate, despite turning your back on the smallblock team.
Yup, the last year has flown :(
I was 95% certain i was going to break it after last years mot, hopefully wont be the same this year. But i didn't expect it to fail last year, and it did..... lol
The car has had plenty of hard use this year though, and ive done everything ive wanted to with it(been pretty much every decent show, done more 1/4s, track days etc), so i'll be honest and say i wouldn't be ****d if i did end up having to break it for whatever reason.
XE bottom pully is down at the engineering place being lathed down, pick it back up tomorrow

07-10-08, 05:06 PM
I've never personally seen them been done like that before, but if you have then I can't see it being a problem.
Here is an early pic of mine, its hard to tell whether it's going to cause you issues or not... a bit of touch & go...
http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q161/neocapture/nc0387.jpg
Unless we just modify you chassis leg with a bit more boxing off whilst the welder is out (i presume you're doing alternator aswell).
So yours is basically lathed totally flat.
Hmm, any chance of a pic from the top of the bay looking down(to see how much space there is between that edge around the bolt holes and the chassis leg
And any pics of it before you fitted it?
i never acctually moddd my bottom pully in my old nova, and it fitted fine lol
think it caught slightly now and then, but that was using standard rubber mounts

Good luck & the end of an era!
Aye, proper end of en are, that car of yours has had some engines no lol
If the weathers crap i wont be bothering lol lol
Is it raining where you are to then lol
Pissing down atm lol
Quick, someone offer me a cheap tb kit for a 1600 16v so i dont need swap engines lol
Just got off the phone to HIC.
They are wanting an increase of £192 to cover the xe for the remainder of the policy(7-8 months to run)
HMMMMM
£200ish (with the admin charge) for 7months, is quite an increase on a £400 policy, in theory its doubled
ahhhh ok..
so.. unsure wether to go through with the engine now?
corsakid
21-10-08, 05:10 PM
that isnt bad about 20-23 quid extra a month bargin in my eyes
I'll be honest, i was expecting it to be less.
But putting it that way i spose its not a massive increase.
Think im just getting a bit tight tbh lol lol
Considering i paid £1200 on a 1.2i a few years ago lol
corsakid
21-10-08, 05:23 PM
but what you will have to condsider is how much your renewal will be next year/end of the 12 month policy, they increased my policy when i went from a metro 1.3 clubman to a corsa turbo when i was 18 by 400 so for the year was 700 and then the next year even wth 1 years extra ncb it was 1300
Exactly what i was thinking. Highly likely i wont have the car by the time the renewal is due though, so will think about that when the time comes.

You wont? :(
Didnt you say that at the last mot? lol
What did you need the sticker for? Thought you had some on anyway?
yes lol
But im not all that bothered about mot this year.
Im getting more and more bored of the same car though, hence that post.
The sticker is going on the bonnet in place of the pin badge :)
What sticker? What what what what what?
