1.4sr advice needed

just put one in my car after running a 1.2 for a while and i know its all been asked before but when u dont have a 1.4 you dont take much notice of the posts

how can i squeeze the last bhp out of it with out spending a fortune and stripping the car to one seat :D cheers all

K&N is a simple cheap way to get better performance out of it, I have one on my 1.4sr and it made a noticable difference. Id look elsewhere b4 you start modding the engine coz that normally starts costing a packet and the insurance and cheap if you declare engine mods either. If you haven't already, put big brakes on there and upgrade your suspension, and stick a strut brace on it. this will enable you to brake later into corners and bends, the supension and strut brace will allow you to corner faster so you won't lose valuable speeds on bends and roundabouts.

Good air filter nad stainless exhaust. Let the car breath more and it will be more powerful!
