We had a hot tub fitted yesterday!

HURRAH! 5 person with massage hydropower jets!

It's now up to the right temperature and we can use it tonight.

It's lashing with rain outside and windy as feck and I'm gonna sit in me hot tub and soak it up!

heres some pics of it being fitted. Need to sort out the garden now coz its a quagmire round the base where the builders laid the concrete base - its also looking miserable - I need more plants.

My little brother had one fitted before christmas, they are very nice. Beer flows very well once you in there. I want it to snow now. Its really nice when its cold outside. Just don't get your head wet (burrrr cold).

Its not that far from the back door.

We used it for the 1st time last night - water temp was 39'c and outside temp was -2'c!

When youve been in it for 20 mins and you get out the only bit on you that goes cold is your trunks! My body was still hot about an hour later!

We literally walked back to the house at about 10pm in our swimming stuff.

Not going to go nud - not yet anyway - we're overlooked a fair bit on one side and not interested in swinging - although there are several houses with pampas grass (the sign of a house that swings) round by us! lol

Got it from a company in Stirling called hot springs - its the "bengal" model and cost about ?6k - paid a chunky deposit (been saving for a fair bit) - its really good value coz all the servicing is free all you pay for is the water treatment stuff. theyve also guaranteed that if it costs more than ?3.50 a week to run theyll refund your whole years leccy bill!
