GTE and GSI engines

This might be a bit of a retarded question, but i am new to novas as a whole.

What is the difference between the GTE and the GSI engines? or are they the same?

GTE and early GSi are E16SE and have an AFM (air flow metre)
Late GSi has no AFM but a dispak (instead of dizzy) and a lambda sensor and cat.
both are 100bhp
