i have got some cavalier gsi alloys, and want to strip them to metal, then polish the hell out of them, then laquer them!

has any one done this before (stripping the paint), and if so whats the best way?

Sand paper???

If you don't fancy the hard work then look up sand/shot blasting in your yellow pages... alternatively most powder coaters have this facility.

120 grit sand paper was used on my tigra 5 spokes but not all the way back to bare metal.

Im going to get my wheels sand/media blasted. I though of using Nitromors, but they are cross spoke, BBS type wheels and will take forever and use a fair bit of Nitromors. Simon, can you tell me how much it is to get them blasted please if you take this route?
