NICE ONE, I WANT TO KEEP SIMPLE,NO REMAPPING ETC, DEFINATLEY THE DIRECTION I WANT TO GO, WHAT YOU THINK OF THE R1 CARB :thumb: CONVERSION BOGG FAMILY DO? SEEMS A GOOD KIT FOR THE MONEY AND AS A BIKER I FIND BIKE CARBS NOT TOO THIRSTY AND THEY SEEM TO KEEP IN TUNE PRETTY WELL.

You wont get 195bhp from cam/head swap.

A set of throttle bodies(jenvey...etc) would get you to about 180bhp.
And it will cost about a grand to buy the equipment, plus getting it mapped etc.

O, and type in small letters :) Lol

if you get your webers setup by a total cretin then they will go out of tune, BUT get someone who knows what a carb/spindle etc is and you will hav ea setup that wont drift out of tune for years and year + still give you 35mpg when you want it.... The old wives tales about carbs come from spatics who refuse to pay for them to be setup correctly!

the R1 "conversion" isnt quite as cheap as it used to be as the bogg people reaslied that there is a good market and everyone gets sent to them so their prices have crept up ;)

you wouldnt nessecaraly have to upgrade the rod bolts, BUT with the ability to rev higher it would be aviseable to fit arp bolts to stop the rods saying hi.

would you opt for the dizzy, or aftermarket ign management for spark?

Let Us Not Ridicule Those Less Fortunate, Muppett Is An Ok Term Tho! Anyone That Can Only Speak With The Aid Of A Hand Up Their Bum!!! Ha! Can You Use 1.6 Dizzy And Coil If 45s Fitted To Allow Tining Settup?

Hi mate, how are things?

You need teh mark 2 Cav 1600 Dissy, with the vac advance on it to run the ignition side of things.... Failing that there are some TBs on Migweb for ?1200 ono, with evryting needed to fit!

;)

Also remember the mk2 cav dizzy setup wont get the most out the setup, as its ignition curve is set for a std 1600 engine, not a XE on t45s.
