View Full Version : Citreon AX GT Carb to injection!

Sorry to talk about a s**teon AX on these nova boards but its for a friend so why not. The principles should be the same as the vauxhall engine so pls help if you can.

A friend has got a citreon AX GT and wants to swap the carbs for injection. I'm guessing this would need to come off a AX GTI. I know he would need the ECU and probably a remap what else would need to be done and what parts are needed.

would it be worth it? i dont think he'd gain much power from it...probably more trouble than it's worth...

good point = no carb icing = K&N on over winter! rooooaaarrrrr! ;)

Mate the GTI is slower than the GT, why you doing it????

the gti engine is a steel block whers the gt one is alloy so it would prob be faster (if the blocks are the same genral size and shape)

isn't gti 100bhp and gt 80bhp???? don't quote me but i'm sure thats right!
