not as bad as i thought it would be, a little welding on the back of the os sill, and a small hole in the os front wing at the bottom, until i started poking...

so i thought i'd tidy it up a little...

but decided i was bored of the old look...
http://s87.photobucket.com/albums/k155/asa_037/th_IMG_0001.jpg
and stripped the front...

*any hole or sharp edge caused by corrosion/crash damage*
any MOT'ers to verify?

i've seen it before, but now its covered it doesent matter. to get round the bottom of the wings last year (behind the wheels) i just putgaffer tape over them for the mot and filled them later. now all i need is a mk2 saloon rear bumper and some decent skirts to match it up

Correct

Body Condition

This part of the examination applies to all vehicles

4. Examine the bodywork for excessive corrosion or damage resulting in sharp edges which are likely to cause injury.

4. A sharp edge or projection, caused by corrosion or damage, which renders the vehicle dangerous to other road users including pedestrians.

But that part of the wing is hidden by the front bumper.

Edit-Ahh, did you have a early bumper fitted which was just like a bar?

You should of just left the hole and fitted the new bumper, its not dangerous then...
Or is that what you did? Lol

Well i wouldnt of failed it. Its in a position were it wouldnt affect anyone. Had it been arches or main parts of the body, but down there where the bumper sticks out a good four inches aint going to cause any harm.
