is it caled the airflow meter that the induction kit is conected to the silver thing on the left hand side of the engine?cos my k reg gsi hasnt got 1 any ideas why not and what will this do decrease performation???????fuel consumption anything like that?

The gsi you have will have no dizzy it will have a amplifier unit instead. Its ok vauxhall designed these last of the line gsi engines this way (with no airflow meter) This compensates for the catalytic converters performance defect. They use a "hot wire" to measure airflow i believe but i cud be wrong. Rick

the filter just bolts straight onto the inlet plentum

i also have the problem i think its a breather pipe that must have gone to the airbox has been blocked off by some1 raming a spark plug in there do i need it blocked off or should i take out the spark plug

leave it blocked off
