after getting 4hours sleep on friday night, i got the train up to stoke-on-trent at 6am, arrived at 11am... then my bro had been out getting w***kered, and was in no fit state to drive me acros to mansfield lol and on the night out he lost his cash card, and i needed to borrow money of him :wtf: so had to sweet talk the lady in the bank, and eventually we were on our way :thumb: me driving of course :cool:

arrived at 2pm, only to find the guy out at a wedding :roll: had to wait 2 hours for him to get back.

finally... :)

after some crude negotiations, i only knocked him down ?25 :cry:

have got all the interior, and the original front seats if anyone wants to put them in a nova ;)
rear bumper and a spare set of manta alloys that i'm going to put some colway gravel tyres on and the set of oz wheels in the boot that have got some below par toyo proxes, that i'll use for track days etc

but i totalled up all the parts on the car and they exceed ?2000 plus the normal service bills carried out by the guy i bought it from and then the price of the car, which is around ?700 - ?1000

sadly yeas... 2litre 8v cih engine, not the best, but was rolling roaded at peter burgess before the head was fitted at 105 @ 5700rpm. the car hasn't been tuned since it's had the head fitted... so thats needs doing, its running a little rich and loses power in 5th :(

will get it crypton tuned for now and get it rolling roaded when i'm back over easter :)

fair play, i love that video, havnt seen it in years. i think i'll go to the manx this year for the round of the british rally championship. if only they did closed road events in wales :(

the manta isn't quite as quick as a manta 400 :( that vid is awesome, seen it a few times... the co-driver is the boss of prodrive now.
