now and again when i have booted my car i, i will pull up and a ticking noise is comming from the engine also the revs have started to die, at times it will rev at 1000rpm and then drop to about 400 and cut out.... does anyone know what could be up with it and if it is expensive to solve cheers ;)

ive got a similar problem, mines just drops to about 800 then back up to 1000 again but now and again the revs and oil pressure will just drop down and cut out, hopefully mine just needs setting up and tuning if it aint ill find out whats causing mine to die and let you know...

i take it yours is fine when driving along though?

it's ok when your driving along but sometimes when your comming up to junctions it will cut out

erm youve thrashed it. give it a good service and u mite need a new cam by sounds of it(cos of ticking).

is that rite peeps or am i speaking crap?
