relay switches

Arrrrrgggghh, why doesnt my boot release work????? i have wired up the solenoid so that when u press button 2 on my clifford alarm it should open but it doesnt, the alarm doesnt seem to give off enough power to operate the relay switch(30amp for halfords) can any body suggest what i can do to fix it

could you not wire it through another battery somehow?

er that sounds like an iffy idea.

you could try a current amplifier. but coz its a clifford i'd personally take it to a VSIB apporved place to have them sort that little task out!!
