Heated rear window not working...

My heated rear window has just packed up, which isn't much good in this weather!! Fuse isn't blown and there's still a circuit being made at the terminals.

Does this mean I'll need a new back window or can I just replace the heater element?

You can get a 'repair pen' for rejoining broken elements if its that so i'd say nono to a new screen/element. In my opinion you should check the wiring.
