gsi engine cut out problem!

im looking at putting a gsi engine in my nova. the engine i might be getting i have been told it cuts out now and then and that this is the idle control valve is this true? how much can i get 1 for if it is? could it be anything else? thnx

Could be a lot of things.

Idle valve
Ign coil
etc etc

try ebay for a idle control valve a got 1 for 15quid an it works
