Very random question, 1ltr engine, rev counter wiring??

Errr, :confused: Is it possible to get a rev counter signal from the coil on a 1ltr engine, seems silly to want to do but i just want to test my mates GTE clocks and check they all work, obviously the oil pressure guage wont but is the wiring for the rev counter same as a 1.2 carb, spare pin on the coil as ive tried this and it had no effect, pls help if ya can peeps, cheers!:thumb:

Yes it is possible, the feed form the 1L coil is from the round plug on it IIRC.

By the coil theres a single green wire just sitting there, got a black end on it with a spade connecter inside, just bang wire on that then to the rev counter and jobs a gooden.
