i saw in a previous post that u sprayed wd40 on breenys (think it was him) dizzy cap, is that correct?
ne hows mine is idling a bit funny, sometimes it feels like its gonna stall then coughs a bit then ticks over ok then back to just missing a beat now and then.
so wot does spraying wd40 on it do? would this help solve or at least minimise the problem a bit?

take the dizzy off, there might well be water inside it, dry it out with a clean cloth and put it back on. Spray the WD40 over all the contacts on the HT/LT leads. The WD40 will get rid of the moisture that maybe on any of the contacts making them much better. dont put too much wd40 on tho!

dry it all off and when youve reassebled it all cover it in "ignition sealer" or Damp start. will stop/minimise the water ingress

Yep as Breeny says. I prefer WD40 over the sealer stuff. It just repells water.
