cars broken yet again

right starting to get really fed up with it now! i broke the fuel pump the other day so ive put two brand new ones on and both of them when i start the ignition and put your foot down dont give the engine any fuel its on the correct way and the engine just stalls, and now the car wont even start. :mad: has anybody had this problem before? i replaced the dizzy leads plugs rotor arm the other week. ????

Are you putting the pump pipes on the right way round?

think so, the large pipe fits onto the pipe from the fuel tank and the smaller one onto pipe to the carb

I'd check the fuel lines to make sure.

might be a bit off the wall, but was the fuel pump the problem?
there might be some muck in the fuel tank that is blocking the pipe. or the pipe might have a kink or blockage.

no, the lines are fine because it was workin great before hand, i'll try the fuel lines tomorrow to make sure!
