View Full Version : Liverpool Victoria
I found them great, they have insured my 1.3SR for ?900 on my own policy, whilst direct line wouldnt touch it! give them a call if your having trouble finding insurance.
Looks like the LV Random Number Generator is operating favourably today then lol

Incidentally, how old are you, any NCB, and what area are you from? These would have an effect on the quote.

livvy, how is paying ?900 for a piece of paper that you own for a year and that you dont want to use 'great'? lol
LV are great, until you tell them you've modded the car.
no, but i do get alot of 'olivers' and 'olives'. im 17, been driving my punto since october, but ive been waiting for my nova since then, just had to find THE one! ?900 is better than not being able to get any insurance.

Did you ring them for that quote?
Im pretty sure HIC would quote similar to that, mines going to be around ?500, for a 1.6 16v conversion, and all my other mods. Thats aged 20,3yrs ncb.

I pay ?1250 on a standard vauxhall nova sr 1.3, 18 with one years driving experience and 0 no claims.
Next year with my 1 years no claims and 2 years driving exp it goes down to ?550, or i can have a celica gt4 205 insured for ?1100!
Insurance is crazy.
Insurance is crazy.

General Baxter

ST205 is an insurance haven though, they're renowned for having low premiums - I pay about ?550 for mine with all mods declared. But not many people shout about it as if the chavs get hold of them the insurance will rocket up.
Only problem is, what you save in insurance you pay out on fuel and maintenance lol

By maintainance you mean ?300 worth of car cleaning products lol
?60, actually lol
Front SSS is a good ?500 per side, and thats just parts! Clutch is an engine out job at 90% of garages as well.

Aye am in crappy oldham but ... Car is in garage at the end of my yard literally. shame really ...
I wanna be 25 :(
Mine didn't change at all when I turned 25, was gutted
I'm still paying ?700 to insure the Nova and ?600 to insure the Celica with 6 years no claims because of my crappy Oldham postcode.
