Gearboxes

Unfortunately, my gearbox has been damaged in the crash and I need to get another. I remember reading in the PNG news once that the gearbox from the 1.4sri corsa is the best for acceleration, without giving away too much top speed. What would be involved in fitting one of these??? when they swap gearboxes, is it the whole gearbox casing or just internals??? and how much should I expect to pay for a gearbox, either GSi or corsa SRi.

well if ya looking at a valver transplant in the near future why bother buying a more expensive gearbox for now when ya gonna need F16 or F20 the 2.0 engine :-/

not on a 1.4 u need a f15 cr which is out the corsa sri and they fit straight ive just fitted one in my 1.4 does make a good diff i was quite surprised
