anyone recovered there door cards? just wondering if it would be a good idea as im having my interior all black, i was thinking it would be easy to just staple new material over the top.

yeah either that or get the aerosol glue stuff. Thats pretty sticky. I just ripped the crap off the original door card and laid the door card down on the new material and cut around it with a 20mm border as such. Then fold over and glue to the BACK of the door card.

no pics but... Id suggest getting some thin foam or material with a foam backing. (pm Ade for a contact for some suade like material)

I would also employ your mom to run it through a sewing machine. Even if it's just a stitch round the outside to make it look a little more interesting.

You could even go for some funky stitching design across the whole face.. ie diagonal lines etc.

I'm planning on doing this too. This question might have an obvious answer but... What material is best for doing this? I haven't found anything suitable at my local fabrics place.

I recovered these, were originally merit doorcards... Use contact adhesive, spray glue tends to come unstuck when its hot!
