central locking

hey.

i brought a central locking kit and i'm looking to fit it this week sometime.

fitted on in my mates corsa which was easy to do once we worked it out.

its easy to do but my only question is whats the easiest way to get from the car shell to the doors?

i'm thinking of just drilling holes and putting rubber gromets in and then securing the wires somewhere after there covered in electrical tape?

if anyone has done this then advice would be great, thanks.

thats what I did mate. Drilled a hole big enough for the wirring to go through 10mm IIRC then got the same sized grommets and a bit or silicon sealent around the gromet. Electrical tape around the central locking wiring so they dont get damaged.

The door is tough so it may take a bit of time to drill the holes.
