i have a faulty starter on my 1.3 engine and my old 1.2 engine has a brand new starter so i have swapped them. Is it ok to do this? It seems to fit fine but havnt turned it over as the engine is not in the car???

Also what should i wire the auto choke (yellow/black wire) to, to make it work? Where does the wire go from the carb? The 1.2 had a manual choke so god knows where the wire goes. I have the wire coming from the carb but just dont know what i should wire it to?

yes starter will be fine , the 1.2 should have the yellow and black wire taped up with the starter motor loom , if not then just run a ig live to it
